ChainCatcher news, the digital asset trading platform Bitrue officially stated that at 15:18 Beijing time on April 14, a vulnerability was discovered in a hot wallet, and attackers have stolen approximately $23 million worth of ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT, and MATIC. The affected hot wallet accounts for less than 5% of the total funds, and the remaining wallets are still secure and have not been attacked.
To conduct additional security checks, Bitrue will suspend all withdrawals and will reopen withdrawals on April 18, 2023. All users affected by this incident will be fully compensated. (Source link)
