According to ChainCatcher news, monitoring by Beosin EagleEye, a security risk monitoring, early warning, and blocking platform under the blockchain security audit company Beosin, revealed that in the first quarter of 2023, a total of 61 major attack incidents occurred in the Web3 field, with total losses amounting to approximately $295 million, a decrease of about 77% compared to the fourth quarter of 2022.

It is reported that the total loss amount in the first quarter of 2023 is lower than any quarter in 2022. Among them, there was 1 security incident with losses exceeding $100 million (the Euler Finance flash loan attack resulted in a loss of $197 million). There were 2 incidents with losses in the range of $10 million to $100 million, and 17 incidents with losses in the range of $1 million to $10 million.

In addition to attack incidents, 41 major Rug Pull incidents were also monitored in the first quarter of 2023, involving an amount of approximately $20.34 million. (Source link)
