ChainCatcher news, Hong Kong China News Agency reports that Hong Kong Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang has confirmed that the Hong Kong Web 3.0 Association, composed of leaders from various industries and Legislative Council members, will be officially established on the 11th of this month. The members include heavyweight figures from the finance and technology sectors. Hong Kong Legislative Council member Wu Jiezhuang expressed hope that this initiative could promote the sustainable development of Web 3.0 in Hong Kong, aiming to leverage Hong Kong's position as an international financial center and innovation hub to foster the healthy and sustainable growth of Web 3.0 in the region, provide policy direction to the SAR government, and attract industry elites to Hong Kong.
According to sources, the members of the association are all heavyweight figures in the industry, including Wu Jiezhuang, co-founder of the startup accelerator G-Rocket, Li Feng, chairman of China Mobile Hong Kong, Xi Handi, co-founder of Zhongyouyou, Tian Xiaoan, vice president of Douyin Group, and Legislative Council member Qiu Dagen from Hong Kong's technology and innovation sector.
