ZK Shanghai is co-hosted by Kepler42B-ZK Planet and Sutulabs, and it is a series of workshops aimed at developers for building and using zero-knowledge proofs.

The course is based on [MIT IAP 2023] Modern Zero Knowledge Cryptography, and the content generally follows the MIT plan: the topics covered range from the mathematical foundations of modern zero-knowledge protocols (interactive protocols, elliptic curve cryptography, pairing-based cryptography, polynomial commitment schemes, zkSNARKs, etc.) to the practical construction of digital systems and reputation systems, anonymous digital transaction systems, and verifiable computation enabled by ZK primitives (privacy-preserving identities).

This course is a three-month zk co-learning program, which will open Office Hours weekly to answer students' questions; we will occasionally invite industry leaders and technical experts to provide guidance; at the end of the three-month course, a ZK Shanghai Hackathon will be held, and the winners will receive grants provided by sponsors.

Towards the end of the course, students will implement their own "zero-knowledge circuits," which can be integrated into practical applications.

The focus of this course is to cultivate a conceptual understanding of modern zero-knowledge. Since this course aims to investigate the "full-stack" landscape from theory to application, it emphasizes conveying the general big ideas and approaches that appear in modern ZK applications rather than precise mathematical rigor.

Note: The course starts as a series of public lectures, but to ensure teaching quality and the learning experience for students who genuinely want to learn, we have set up a deposit refund plan.
