ChainCatcher news, Yuga Labs' metaverse project Otherside has launched Koda NFT splitting and Vessel claiming. Only Otherdeeds that own Koda can be split, but all Otherdeeds holders can claim a Vessel NFT. It is recommended to complete the claiming process through a desktop browser. Both Vessel claiming and NFT splitting are open indefinitely, so there is no rush to claim.

In addition, after the split, users' Otherdeed NFTs must be destroyed. Burning the original Otherdeed will generate one Koda NFT and one Otherdeed Expanded NFT without Koda. Each NFT will exist in a new collection, independent of each other.

Users holding regular Otherdeeds will receive a new Vessel NFT and an Otherdeed Expanded NFT after claiming the Vessel.

The Otherdeed Expanded NFT is key to unlocking future gaming experiences and activations, including "Otherside: Legends of the Mara." (source link)
