ChainCatcher news, the blockchain-based mortgage platform Acre has announced the completion of £6.5 million (approximately $8.05 million) in seed funding, with participation from McPike Global Family Office (MGFO), Aviva, and Founders Factory. It is reported that Acre previously completed a $5 million funding round in 2019.
Acre's platform uses blockchain technology to verify consumer and property data, supporting the mortgage business. The platform's annual mortgage volume has exceeded £10 billion, and the new funds will be used to expand and establish new partnerships and launch other financial products and services. (Source link)
