The Aave community's ARFC proposal on "Deploying V3 MVP version on Polygon zkEVM" has been voted through
ChainCatcher news, the Aave community's ARFC proposal regarding "Deploying the V3 MVP version on the Polygon zkEVM mainnet" has passed with a 100% approval rate and will move to a formal on-chain vote.
The proposal indicates that the development workload for deploying Aave V3 is relatively small, but to mitigate risks, it suggests limiting incoming assets and setting conservative risk parameters to allow developers and risk service providers to conduct a more in-depth analysis of the zkEVM network. The proposal recommends adding only three collateral assets (WETH, WMATIC, and USDC) and one borrowable asset (USDC) to reduce risk.
It is reported that since October 2022, Aave V3 has been successfully deployed on the zkEVM testnet, running for about 6 months. zkEVM is an L2 solution developed by the Polygon team, which is EVM-equivalent. The Beta version of the Polygon zkEVM mainnet was recently launched. (source link)
