ENS has deployed contracts such as NameWrapper to the mainnet, which require DAO voting approval to take effect
ChainCatcher news, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) founder and core developer Nick Johnson stated that new versions of NameWrapper, PublicResolver, ETHRegistrarController, and ReverseRegistrar have been deployed to the mainnet and will not take effect until DAO approval voting activates the new contracts.
It is reported that NameWrapper enhances functionality by wrapping existing ENS domain names as ERC-1155 tokens, providing better control over the permissions of wrapped domains and granting more permissions to subdomains. (Source link)
