It is reported that a governance attack refers to hackers controlling enough voting power to execute proposals aimed at stealing tokens from the protocol. Previously reported, in February 2021, Swerve Finance multi-signature holders and its Discord channel moderator chickenpie347 stated that due to issues such as the founder John's disappearance, tokenomics design, and conflicts of interest among multi-signature holders, the Swerve team decided to hand over the project to the community and shift to the new project Boot Finance.
