Xu Mingxing: OKB Chain is an L2 of Ethereum and will develop towards ZK technology in the future

ChainCatcher message, Xu Mingxing's response to the question regarding "the difference between OKB Chain and OKT": OKT Chain is an L1 chain, and the recent release will be OKTC WASM, allowing us to develop high-performance Dapps using Rust or C++. OKB Chain will be an L2 chain of Ethereum, starting with sidechain technology and evolving towards ZK technology. Both OKTC and OKBC are part of OKX's core chain strategy.

Previously, it was announced that OKB Chain will go live in the first quarter, independent of the existing OKX Chain (OKC). (Source link)
