According to ChainCatcher news, the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol) stated that German and American authorities have seized 44 million euros from the cryptocurrency mixer ChipMixer. The European police organization announced on Wednesday that the relevant authorities shut down the platform's infrastructure, confiscating four servers, 7TB of data, and 1909.4 bitcoins (BTC) (47.7 million dollars).

It is reported that the reason for this investigation is that ChipMixer allowed its clients to hide traces of criminal activities, such as ransomware attacks and payment fraud, as well as some more serious illegal activities. (source link)
