Game Space, the first Casual GameFi Hub, officially launches the second season of the Player One Tournament today, partnering with AAA blockchain games The Lost Land, Oath of Peak, and Bless Global to reignite excitement in the blockchain gaming sector. In February of this year, over 20,000 users participated in the first season of the Player One Tournament, with more than 200,000 interactions on Twitter, resulting in a cumulative growth of 41,000 new Twitter users for game partners within just 10 days.

Building on the success of the first season, this tour has raised a Listed Token prize pool of 15,000 USDT and attracted 50 partners, including KCC Chain, Bybit, Quest3, Link3, CyberConnect, as well as mainstream gaming guilds and DAOs. Tencent Cloud International, as one of the sponsors of this tour, provides game partners with cloud credits worth $30,000 and will continue to invest in each season to show support for the GameFi sector.

As one of the core narratives of Web3, blockchain games can attract more Web2 traffic and contribute to industry development. According to DappRadar, the number of active wallets in GameFi reached 800,000 in 2022, and the market size of GameFi is expected to reach $38 billion by 2028, demonstrating that GameFi has become a highly promising sector in the eyes of some OGs, seasoned GameFi enthusiasts, and investors.

Michael Cameron, CEO of Game Space, stated: "Despite the biases brought on by the bear market, GameFi continues to show strong potential and resilience. Since its establishment, Game Space has been deeply engaged in the GameFi sector, initially providing GaaS (GameFi as a Service) for traditional AAA games, embedding SDKs to help them deploy games on Web3 within 7 days.

Through our continuous efforts, we have developed Game Space into a diversified blockchain gaming platform, gathering nearly 60,000 loyal Web3 community users. In the future, we will continue to push boundaries and hold large-scale blockchain gaming tours to bring more Web2 users into Web3 and invigorate the GameFi sector."

Under the impact of last year's bear market, many projects were affected; however, the bear market also allows developers to focus more on project development. In this context, the GameFi sector has quietly risen again, and tournaments like the Player One Tournament, which encompasses multiple games, provide a platform for more quality blockchain gaming projects to showcase themselves.

The games joining the second season have solid and strong backgrounds, including Oath of Peak from Yeeha Games, which is a GameFi platform that raised $50 million; The Lost Land, the first defense-type GameFi game independently developed by Monster Labs; and Bless Global, the industry's first AAA MMORPG GameFi game developed by TigonMobile under Longtu Korea.

It is worth mentioning that Bless Global uses Game Space's SDK engine for Web3 deployment. This SDK allows games to quickly have blockchain capabilities such as NFT trading markets, MPC wallets, management backends, and security guarantees. Recently, Bless Global also announced that 2 million players participated in the Beta test warm-up event, with an average user online time of 218 minutes.

The second season of the Player One Tournament will last for 12 days, focusing on one game every three days. Meanwhile, Game Space also invites mainstream game streamers on Twitch to participate in live broadcasts. Participants can join by completing tasks on Quest3: https://app.quest3.xyz/event/748104043896905973

For the Player One Tournament, Game Space will continue to collaborate with more public chains, various gaming guilds, Web3 Infra, and Web3 communities to host tournaments, attracting attention to various GameFi projects and expanding the player base for blockchain games, thereby better promoting the prosperity and development of the entire GameFi and NFT ecosystem.
