Aztec announced the gradual shutdown of the privacy bridge project Aztec Connect and will focus on developing new products based on the Noir language
ChainCatcher news, based on the ZK-Rollup privacy and scalability solution Aztec Network announced the gradual shutdown of the DeFi privacy bridge project Aztec Connect. In one week, deposits from zk.money and other frontends (such as zkpay.finance) into the Aztec Connect contract will be disabled, but users will be able to withdraw for free within a year. The Aztec Connect contract is expected to be completely abandoned after one year. The team stated that the Aztec Connect protocol has now been fully open-sourced, encouraging the Aztec community to fork, deploy, and run new versions.
In addition, the team's medium to long-term focus will be on the development of the zero-knowledge general-purpose language Noir and the next-generation encrypted blockchain, which will be compatible and interconnected with each other. (Source link)
