ChainCatcher news, Yuga Labs' Bitcoin NFT series TwelveFold auction model has sparked dissatisfaction within the crypto community. According to the auction rules, bidders are required to send their entire BTC bid amount to a single BTC address controlled by Yuga, and the winning bidder only needs to pay the BTC of their bid, while Yuga claims to refund the BTC to unsuccessful bidders. Some members of the crypto community pointed out that refunds for unsuccessful bids must be done manually, akin to the "Stone Age."

Twitter user @veryordinally stated, "Yuga Labs has established very poor priorities in such auctions. They take over the bidders' Bitcoin and promise to return unsuccessful bids." Bitcoin Ordinals protocol creator Anthony Guerrera agreed, stating that Yuga Labs' auction behavior is "depraved," and he added that he would encourage others to boycott the project if Yuga conducts similar auctions.
