ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, Gitcoin co-founder Kevin Owocki has launched the ReFi incubator Supermodular. Supermodular will focus on regenerative finance projects, aiming to help developers advance Web3 technology while protecting critical resources and global public goods.

As Gitcoin transitions from a ConsenSys-funded startup to a DAO managed by token holders, its remaining business, Gitcoin Holdings, is being renamed Supermodular. Supermodular has a service agreement with Gitcoin that allows the former to maintain a normal relationship with the latter. Owocki himself completely left Gitcoin in 2022, delegating a large amount of governance tokens he held to managers to support its decentralized work.

The company is also incubating Owocki's own buidlbox, an application for launching hackathons, as well as the Gitcoin Grants Stack, a tool for funding managers. (source link)
