The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has launched the ENS application supporting the Name Wrapper feature on Goerli
ChainCatcher news, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is about to launch an ENS application that supports the Name Wrapper feature, which is currently live on Goerli for user testing.
It is reported that the NameWrapper smart contract enhances functionality by wrapping existing ENS domain names into ERC-1155 tokens, including better control over the permissions of wrapped domains, and the ability to display, transfer, and trade wrapped domains in any wallet that supports the ERC-1155 standard. Additionally, the NameWrapper allows the main domain to control the expiration of subdomains and can grant subdomain owners or other accounts the permission to extend the expiration time.
