Pendulum launches on the Polkadot mainnet, completing the first phase of the roadmap

ChainCatcher news, Pendulum has launched on the Polkadot mainnet, marking the completion of the first phase of the project's roadmap. In its three-phase roadmap, subsequent phases will include the launch of the Token Transferability Event, the Spacewalk Stellar-Polkadot Bridge, and forex-AMM 0xAmber. The goal is to complete the entire phase before March.

The Pendulum network has produced blocks and successfully executed its first on-chain transaction. Upon completion, Pendulum's native token PEN will power the fiat hub on Polkadot, trading on Pendulum, as well as governance and staking.

Previously in January, Polkadot announced that Pendulum won the 35th parachain auction. Pendulum aims to optimize the connection between fiat and the DeFi ecosystem through smart contracts on Polkadot with fiat. (source link)
