ChainCatcher news, Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko stated regarding the ETH supply issue on the Ethereum testnet that a new testnet named Holli (the network name may also be Holešky) is planned to be launched later this year.

Regarding the question of "how to allow application developers easy access to testnet ETH while considering both clients and stakers, and how to facilitate the migration of major projects if transitioning to the new testnet, allowing for composability?", Tim Beiko provided two suggestions: to add every ETH address that has deployed contracts on the mainnet, Goerli, and Sepolia to the genesis file, and to coordinate with major contract and infrastructure developers to launch on the network shortly after the genesis. Tim Beiko is currently seeking input from application layer developers on how to address this issue. (source link)
