AI search engine Kaito completes $5.3 million seed round financing, led by Dragonfly
ChainCatcher news, the AI-powered crypto search engine Kaito has completed a $5.3 million seed round financing, led by Dragonfly Capital, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Jane Street, Mirana Ventures, Folius Ventures, and Alpha Lab Capital. Kaito's founder and CEO Yu Hu stated that they are currently discussing the next round of financing with OpenAI, Binance, and Dragonfly.
Kaito indicated that it will use the funds to expand its team and accelerate product development. Kaito's MetaSearch aims to enable users to search the entire crypto space through platforms like Twitter, Discord, governance forums, Mirror, and Medium with a one-click product. In addition to aggregating information, Kaito also leverages AI to optimize its search engine through ranking, topic mining, personalization, recommendations, voice-to-text transcription, and AI-generated content, and will integrate ChatGPT/GPT-3.
Kaito will also launch a token-based community that will utilize a model similar to Wikipedia, allowing users to contribute to the platform through a tiered system. (source link)
