BitDAO's new proposal aims to allocate budget funds for the first phase of the testnet and mainnet of its L2 network Mantle
ChainCatcher news, the BitDAO community has initiated a proposal on Snapshot, suggesting a one-year budget for the previously launched Ethereum Layer2 network Mantle, with the testnet operational costs for 6 months amounting to 10 million BIT and 14 million USDC.
The budget allocation for the first phase of the Mantle mainnet (the first year) is as follows: 145 million BIT and 34 million USDC for the mainnet operational expenses in the first year; 15,000 ETH for Ethereum Layer 1 Gas fees (which will be offset by the BIT transaction fees received on the Mantle Network); a loan of 30 million BIT and 6 million USD equivalent in primary assets (these assets belong to BitDAO and can be tracked on-chain) to fund the specification bridge and node delegation. The voting deadline for this proposal is February 20 at 22:00.
It is reported that in January, the BitDAO modular Ethereum Layer2 network Mantle Network announced the launch of its testnet. Mantle obtains security from Ethereum through Rollups and is building a separate data availability layer in collaboration with its partner EigenLayer. (source link)
