zkSync mobile payment wallet Numio announces it will cease operations

ChainCatcher news, based on zkSync, the mobile payment wallet Numio stated on its official blog that it will shut down the project and end development due to the inability to successfully raise the funds needed to continue development. Numio expressed that it welcomes offers from companies interested in purchasing Numio's IP and hopes to continue building the wallet's future.

According to Rootdata, Numio is a product that supports zkRollups on Google Play for instant and low-fee transfers, aimed at enabling people to have better control over their funds and digital identities. It is one of the first wallets to support native transactions on zkSync. In July 2021, the project raised $1.25 million in funding led by HashKey Capital, with participation from LD Capital, Youbi Capital, and others. (source link)
