What are the star projects in the Shiba Inu ecosystem that will soon launch L2?

Known as the "Dogecoin killer," Shib is about to launch the Layer 2 solution Shibarium Beta version. Shibarium Beta runs on top of Ethereum. This chain offers advantages such as scalability, speed, and low fees, which can serve various industries including the metaverse, Web3 use cases, and gaming, while helping to reduce the load on blockchain networks and improve user experience in metaverse and gaming applications.

Unlike the currently popular PoS consensus, Shibarium adopts a DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) consensus. In this consensus mechanism, not all network participants can validate transactions and create blocks; instead, a selected group of validators is chosen through a voting process. Individual users can delegate their voting rights to the validators of their choice through voting.

Shibarium Beta is supported by its ecosystem tokens Shiba Inu (SHIB), Doge Killer (LEASH), and Bone (BONE).

The BONE token will be used to pay gas fees and reward validators and delegators within the Shibarium protocol. Since its inception in July 2021, its primary function has been related to governance. The total supply of BONE is 250 million, of which 20 million has been reserved for rewarding validators and delegators in the coming years, selected by the Shiba community through a DAO voting process.

The total supply of the LEASH token is only 107,646 tokens, positioned as a special token for loyal supporters of the ecosystem, allowing holders to enjoy exclusive benefits and access. For example, rewards in BONE tokens for liquidity providers on ShibaSwap, exclusive access to Shiboshi NFT minting, and early access to land sales in Shib: Metaverse, among others.

According to Coingecko data, the price of the LEASH token has increased by 35.16% in the past 7 days.

Currently, the Shiba Inu ecosystem is still in the early stages of development, and they are building their own DEX, NFTs, Metaverse, etc. Now, let's take a look at the projects within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

DEX: ShibaSwap

ShibaSwap is a decentralized exchange that allows users to trade various digital assets in a trustless and secure manner. The platform is built on the Ethereum blockchain, utilizing the 0x protocol to provide a decentralized and trustless trading experience, and will support its Layer 2 network after the release of Shibarium Beta.

ShibaSwap is currently supported by three tokens: SHIB, LEASH, and BONE, and has the following features:

Swap function: Allows users to securely and reliably trade the tokens held in their wallets using the Swap feature.

Bury function: The Bury function on ShibaSwap allows users to "stake" their Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens and earn staking rewards. The rewards earned are proportional to the amount of SHIB, LEASH, or BONE tokens staked by the user.

Dig function: Allows users to provide liquidity on ShibaSwap and earn SSLP tokens that represent their share in the liquidity pool. In most cases, users only need to hold SSLP tokens to earn their share of rewards from the fees generated by the trading pair.

Woof function: Woof is where liquidity providers stake their SSLP tokens to earn additional rewards. Users must stake these SSLP tokens on the Woof page of ShibaSwap to receive extra liquidity rewards.

NFT: SHIBOSHIS

SHIBOSHIS are 10,000 Shiba Inu NFTs on Ethereum, officially released as an NFT series. Currently, the floor price for this NFT is 0.69 ETH.

During the minting phase, each wallet is limited to a maximum of 10 SHIBOSHIS NFTs, and LEASH token holders had the opportunity to purchase SHIBOSHI NFTs first during the minting phase. Ultimately, the NFT series sold out in 34 minutes, briefly causing a spike in gas prices.

Holding SHIBOSHIS NFTs allows for various rewards and utilities, such as direct communication with the development team and core team members of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, having a say in the development, design, and implementation of SHIBOSHIS and their associated projects, renaming your SHIBOSHIS NFT (but each name change will cost 100 USD in SHIB, and the name can only be used once across all NFTs), and early qualification for land in the SHIBOSHI metaverse, among others.

SHIB: Metaverse

SHIB: Metaverse consists of 100,595 Lands, which serve as plots of virtual real estate that can generate passive income, collect in-game resources, and earn rewards. Some lands are reserved for public facilities such as roads and gathering spaces (HUBS). The plots that make up HUBS are not for sale but can be rented.

During the introduction phase of SHIB, 36,431 plots of land will be unlocked, revealing 4 different areas divided into 4 tiers, with different quantities and prices of land allocated to each tier:

• Tier 4 Silver Fur: 17,030, 0.2 ETH

• Tier 3 Gold Tail: 7,356, 0.3 ETH

• Tier 2 Platinum Paw: 5,714, 0.5 ETH

• Tier 1 Diamond Tooth: 2,024, 1 ETH

• And HUBS: 4,307

During the sales phase, SHIB: Metaverse will have three rounds of sales activities:

• Bidding event (72 hours)

During this phase, participating users need to lock LEASH tokens or SHIBOSHIS NFTs, and bidding will only last for 72 hours, with all land purchases completed using ETH.

• Holder event (7 days)

This event is for LEASH token and SHIBOSHIS NFT holders who did not initially participate in the bidding event. During this phase, LEASH token and SHIBOSHI NFT holders can purchase without the bidding mechanism. All land purchases are completed using ETH.

• Public sale (ongoing)

This phase is open to everyone, allowing users to purchase the remaining land without any restrictions or lock-up periods.

GameFi: Shiba Eternity

Shiba Eternity is a free card game featuring over 500 unique cards and 10,000 different SHIBOSHIS heroes. The game integrates with SHIBOSHI NFTs, allowing users to use their own SHIBOSHIS NFTs in the game, while Shiba Eternity also allows you to create your own cards based on your Shiboshis and the characteristics of 6 warriors (Chewjitsu, Taikwondoje, Ryo Chi, Bite Thai, Woof Chun, Shyjitsu).

Currently, Shiba Eternity has been launched on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

TREAT Token

On the Shib official website, we can also see a page for the upcoming reward token TREAT. Currently, not much detail has been announced about the TREAT token, but it will be used for ShibaSwap, Shiba Metaverse, Shiba Eternity, and as rewards for validators, among other purposes.
