Bloomberg: Blockchain financial company Figure abandons SPAC listing and seeks $100 million in funding
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg citing informed sources, blockchain financial company Figure has abandoned its SPAC listing and is seeking $100 million in funding.
Previously reported, Figure completed a $200 million Series D funding round at a valuation of $3.2 billion in May 2021, led by 10T Holdings and Morgan Creek Digital. The informed source stated that the company had hoped to raise $300 million in 2022, but financing deals were stalled due to the bear market. The current $100 million funding may be delayed as Figure refuses to lower its valuation. (Source link)
