Coinbase Cloud's head and engineering director have both left the company
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block citing informed sources, Coinbase Cloud head and engineering lead Joe Lallouz and Aaron Henshaw have left Coinbase. Both were founders of blockchain infrastructure provider Bison Trails, which Coinbase acquired for over $457 million in 2021. After the acquisition, Bison Trails was renamed Coinbase Cloud.
ChainCatcher previously reported that Coinbase announced last month it would lay off about 950 employees, accounting for 20% of its total workforce, and cut operational expenses by 25%. (source link)
