World Mobile collaborates with IOG to develop a Cardano sidechain, connecting Cardano and the Cosmos ecosystem

ChainCatcher news, Cardano's mobile internet connectivity project World Mobile has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Input Output Global (IOG) to develop a dedicated permissioned Cardano sidechain. The World Mobile Chain will be built using Cosmos's open-source protocol Tendermint, and the development has been ongoing for several months. Once completed, the World Mobile Chain will connect the Cosmos and Cardano ecosystems, enabling interoperability between the two chains.

World Mobile stated, "Through this technological initiative, our shared goal is to connect the permissioned solution built on the Cosmos SDK with Cardano's public mainnet. This introduces new possibilities for interoperability between the Cosmos and Cardano ecosystems." (source link)
