ChainCatcher News, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has once again rejected the spot Bitcoin ETF listing applications from Ark Invest and 21Shares, stating that they failed to "prove that their proposal meets the requirements to prevent fraud and other malicious acts."

Previously reported, the SEC first rejected Ark and 21Shares' spot Bitcoin ETF application in April last year, citing a lack of investor protection. They subsequently submitted another application in May, and the SEC has delayed its decision multiple times. (Source link)
