Mango Labs sues attacker Avraham Eisenberg, demanding the return of $47 million in bug bounty
ChainCatcher news, Mango Labs LLC has officially sued the attacker Avraham Eisenberg in Manhattan, demanding the return of the $47 million bounty for the vulnerability that was retained in the previous compensation proposal.
Previously, ChainCatcher reported that the Solana ecosystem DeFi platform Mango was hacked in October 2022, with hacker Avraham Eisenberg illegally manipulating the collateral token prices to profit $114 million in just 20 minutes. Subsequently, the Mango community voted to approve a new proposal regarding the repayment of bad debt (Repay Bad Debt #2), allowing Avraham Eisenberg to keep $47 million as a bounty for the vulnerability, while the remaining $67 million in stolen tokens would be returned to Mango Labs, and Mango Markets would not pursue criminal charges in this case.
