DappRadar Report: Ethereum and Cardano Had the Most Active Developers in 2022, Ethereum Dominated NFT Transactions

ChainCatcher news, DappRadar reports that Ethereum and Cardano became the blockchains with the highest number of active developers in 2022, with an average of 223 and 151 daily active developers, respectively. Meanwhile, Ethereum dominated NFT transactions in 2022, with Wax in second place.

In 2022, NFT transactions reached 101 million, a 67.57% increase from the previous year. Among them, Ethereum processed 21.2 million transactions, accounting for 21% of the NFT market share. Wax ranked second, completing 14.5 million NFT transactions, a year-on-year increase of 11.63%.

Additionally, with the popularity of NFTs and gaming Dapps, the dominance of DeFi has declined. In 2021, DeFi Dapps accounted for 50-91% of all Dapps on leading blockchains. However, in 2022, only 39-56% of Dapps belonged to the DeFi category. (source link)
