The Central African Republic Establishment Committee will draft legislation on cryptocurrency and tokenization for the region
ChainCatcher news, the Central African Republic (CAR), a developing country in Central Africa, has established a 15-member committee responsible for drafting legislation on the use of cryptocurrencies and tokenization in the region. According to CAR Prime Minister Faustin-Archange Touadéra, cryptocurrencies could help eliminate financial barriers in the country.
It is reported that the committee responsible for drafting the crypto legislation consists of 15 experts from five ministries of the Central African Republic. Through collaboration, the members' task is to create a legal framework that allows cryptocurrencies to operate in the Central African Republic and accelerate the development of the national economy.
