ChainCatcher news, Cameron Winklevoss, co-founder of the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, tweeted that Genesis's bankruptcy filing is the first step for Gemini to recover assets for Gemini Earn users. Although Gemini has been working hard to negotiate with Genesis, DCG (Genesis's parent company) and its CEO have consistently refused to provide fair trading information. This situation will change after Genesis files for bankruptcy protection; under judicial supervision, Genesis will have to disclose trading information, allowing everyone to understand how things have come to this point.

In addition, Winklevoss stated that Gemini has always been prepared to take direct legal action against DCG and its CEO, believing that DCG should be held accountable for fraudulent activities that have caused property losses and harm to over 340,000 Earn users and other users deceived by Genesis. Unless DCG can provide a fair solution, Gemini will immediately file a lawsuit against DCG and its CEO. At the same time, Gemini will use all tools available in bankruptcy court to maximize the recovery of losses for Earn users. (source link)
