ChainCatcher news, according to a report by the Financial Times citing informed sources, the venture capital firm Founders Fund, co-founded by Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel, sold most of its cryptocurrency holdings at the end of March 2022, realizing approximately $1.8 billion in returns, and currently has no significant exposure to cryptocurrencies. Founders Fund first invested in Bitcoin in early 2014 and has continued to make substantial investments in cryptocurrencies, with informed sources stating that about two-thirds of its total investments were used to purchase Bitcoin.
