ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Luno's founder and chief technology officer Timothy Stranex has left the company in December to pursue "personal projects." Timothy Stranex worked at the company for ten years.

It is reported that Luno was founded in 2013 by Timothy Stranex, Carel van Wyk, Pieter Heyns, and current CEO Marcus Swanepoel. It is a cryptocurrency trading and wallet application that was acquired by the cryptocurrency group Digital Currency Group in September 2020. (Source link)
