ChainCatcher news, Polygon released its 2022 year-end review report, summarizing the development of the Polygon ecosystem from four aspects: the Polygon blockchain network, dApps, NFTs, and developer activities. Among them, the number of active wallets in the fourth quarter increased by 115% compared to 2021, reaching 11 million. In a volatile market environment, Polygon's monthly transaction volume remained above 80 million. In terms of NFTs, non-financial NFT transaction volume reached 1.12 billion USD, with game NFTs dominating at a transaction volume of 772 million USD.

In 2022, developer activities and numbers on Polygon also saw significant growth, with the number of on-chain direct contract creations increasing by 250% from 309,000 in 2021 to 795,000, averaging 66,000 contracts created per month; the number of contract creators grew by 740% from 31,700 in 2021 to 237,000.
