ChainCatcher news, according to Coinpost, the gaming public chain Oasys has announced the establishment of a governance system as a decentralized decision-making process, aimed at discussing the development of the chain game industry while seeking project decentralization, including the formulation of interoperability standards specifically for games and metaverse NFTs. Oasys's goal is to achieve a fully decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) by 2028.

The project plans to first establish a governance system as a decentralized process and gradually improve the public operating system in the future. In the future, OAS token holders will be able to participate in various decisions of the project, and the Oasys network will be decentralized. The year 2023 is a trial operation period for the governance system, and proposals for network improvements are limited to the Genesis Council centered around Oasys's partner companies.

In addition, regarding voting, a feature that allows general token holders to participate is scheduled to be implemented within the year. By 2024, the Genesis Council will appoint official Council members, and general token holders will also be able to propose initiatives in governance. (source link)
