ChainCatcher news, according to a report by The Block citing sources, since the collapse of FTX last November, the crypto charity platform The Giving Block has laid off about 10 people in three rounds, accounting for approximately 12% of its total workforce. A spokesperson for the company confirmed the layoffs and stated that internal restructuring and budget reallocation have taken place.

It is reported that The Giving Block was established in 2018 and was acquired by the publicly listed payment company Shift4 in March last year, but it has since maintained autonomy and operates independently. According to its annual report, The Giving Block processed approximately $70 million in crypto donations in 2021, and it is expected that the platform processed $1 billion in crypto donations in 2022.
