Mina launches zkIgnite Cohort 1, aiming to promote the development of ecological applications
ChainCatcher news, the lightweight blockchain Mina has launched a three-month zkIgnite Cohort 1, aimed at helping developers and entrepreneurs build applications on Mina. The Mina Foundation offers funding of up to $500,000 USDC and 500,000 MINA to support zkApp (zero-knowledge smart contracts) businesses and key developer tools that ultimately drive the Mina ecosystem forward.
The cryptocurrency protocol Mina, a lightweight blockchain, is developed by the team at O(1) Labs, leaders in the field of verifiable computing. It uses cryptography and recursive zero-knowledge proofs zk-SNARK to design a complete blockchain that maintains a size of about 22KB while improving the speed of verifying the current state of the blockchain.
