Web3 carbon credit market Thallo completes €50 million on-chain transactions and will launch "BaaS" service on Polygon
ChainCatcher news, Web3 carbon credit market Thallo announced that the carbon offset ecosystem IMPT has completed an on-chain carbon credit procurement transaction of up to 50 million euros on its platform, which will help offset approximately 12 million tons of carbon over the next 10 years, equivalent to the carbon footprint of nearly 2.6 million people globally.
In addition, Thallo also announced the launch of "Bridging-as-a-Service" on the Polygon blockchain, allowing Web3 companies to directly integrate carbon credits into their own infrastructure.
According to the crypto data platform RootData, Thallo completed a $2.5 million seed round financing last November, with participation from Ripple and others. (cryptonews)
