ChainCatcher news, French metaverse startup Digital Village announced the completion of a new funding round of $4 million, with participation from institutions such as the BOLD fund under the fashion brand L'Oréal, the British Fashion Council, Venture Reality Fund, and Venrex.

It is reported that Digital Village builds engaging immersive virtual experiences in the metaverse by equipping brands and creators with tools, allowing individual virtual avatars to move and socialize in virtual spaces, and share experiences and assets on digital platforms, with interfaces supporting Ethereum and Vechain.

In addition, the L'Oréal Business Opportunities Development Fund (BOLD) was established in 2018, and this investment marks its first venture capital transaction in the metaverse and Web3 space. (source link)
