Gemini co-founder: The SEC's charges do nothing to help retail investors recover their assets
ChainCatcher news, Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss commented on the SEC's allegations against Gemini and Genesis, stating, "It is disappointing that the SEC has chosen to file a lawsuit while Gemini and other creditors are working together to recover funds. The SEC's actions do not assist our further efforts to help Earn users get back their assets and are counterproductive. Gemini has consistently worked to comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and any contrary claims are unfounded."
According to previous reports from ChainCatcher, the SEC has accused Gemini and Genesis of issuing and selling securities to retail investors without registration. (source link)
