ChainCatcher news, the crypto venture capital firm SPiCE VC announced its performance for 2022, with an internal rate of return (IRR) exceeding 50%. Additionally, SPiCE's multiple on invested capital (MOIC) grew by 6 times, which is three times the VC average. SPiCE achieved an 82% distribution to paid-in capital (DPI) for its investors over four years. (Editor’s note: The internal rate of return is the discount rate at which the present value of cash inflows equals the present value of cash outflows, resulting in a net present value of zero.)

Furthermore, according to the crypto data platform RootData, cases invested by SPiCE VC include Bakkt, ripio, Securitize, INX, and others. Additionally, SPiCE VC founder and managing partner Tal Elyashiv revealed last September that the fund had returned 82% of the capital to its investors in the first phase. (Source link)
