ChainCatcher news, South Korea's Lotte Group subsidiary Lotte Data Communication announced that it will participate in CES 2023 held in Las Vegas, USA, and will launch the metaverse platform Lotte Metaverse in the main exhibition hall.

According to the introduction, Lotte Metaverse is an immersive and realistic metaverse platform based on hyper-realistic content, which combines real-life characters with graphics backgrounds created by the world-class graphics engine "Unreal Engine 5." It employs three-dimensional real-time rendering technology, VR live-action shooting technology, and "deep interaction" patents, allowing users to interact authentically with objects or people from real life in the metaverse, providing a sense of reality and immersion for shopping, entertainment, and community experiences in the virtual world.

Lotte Metaverse aims to become a user-oriented platform based on UGC and plans to launch NFTs associated with the metaverse in the first half of this year, as well as open an NFT marketplace and virtual asset wallet. (prnewswire)
