The FBI has established a special task force for FTX to recover victims' assets

ChainCatcher news, according to CNBC, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office announced on Tuesday that it has established a special task force for FTX to recover assets for FTX victims and handle investigations and prosecutions related to the company and other entities. The task force will consist of prosecutors from the Securities and Commodities Fraud, Public Corruption, Money Laundering, and Transnational Criminal Enterprises divisions. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) estimates that the fraud by FTX and Alameda Research resulted in customer losses exceeding $8 billion. (CNBC)
