ChainCatcher news, Layer1 blockchain Cronos announced that it will upgrade its mainnet to Cronos V1.0 "Galileo" on January 17, 2023. The main improvements introduced in Cronos v1.0 are as follows: memory pool priority further expands TPS; optimized node storage: full node storage reduced by 30%; GRPC query concurrent response and other node performance enhancements; node startup time generally reduced by about 50%; new Cosmos features provide better convenience for EVM/Cosmos interoperability (IBC incentives, IBC token transfer memo field).
