Nexo partner: Has not given up on acquiring Vauld and is still trying to help its creditors recover funds
ChainCatcher news, Nexo managing partner Kalin Metodiev denied reports during an interview with Decrypt that negotiations for a potential acquisition of rival crypto lending platform Vauld had been terminated, stating that Nexo has not given up on attempts to rescue Vauld and help its creditors recover as much platform funds as possible.
Earlier reports indicated that Vauld founder and CEO Darshan Bathija revealed in an email to the company's creditors that Nexo's acquisition of Vauld "unfortunately did not come to fruition." However, according to informed sources, any decisions regarding Vauld's future are in the hands of the company's creditors' committee, rather than its former CEO. (Decrypt)
