The Uniswap Foundation has initiated a proposal vote to change the community governance process, which will close on December 22
ChainCatcher news, the Uniswap Foundation has initiated a proposal vote to change the community governance process. The new proposal suggests replacing the original three-day consensus check process with a seven-day "Request for Comments" (RFC) process. Additionally, it proposes to increase the legal passing threshold for the new temperature check from the original 50,000 UNI to 10 million UNI.
It is reported that the Uniswap Foundation stated that since there are currently 37 Uniswap representatives who can vote with over 2.5 million UNI, raising the legal passing threshold will better reflect community support signals. Currently, the proposal vote has received support from 34 million UNI, and voting will close on December 22 at 5:00 PM. (source link)
