The metaverse company Infinite Reality plans to go public through a SPAC merger with Newbury
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, anonymous sources revealed that the metaverse company Infinite Reality plans to go public through a merger with Newbury Street Acquisition Corp. via a SPAC. Currently, the negotiations between the two parties have entered the final stages, and an announcement could be made as early as next week. Representatives from Infinite Reality and Newbury have declined to comment on the matter.
ChainCatcher previously reported that Infinite Reality acquired the esports and entertainment group ReKTGlobal in April this year for $470 million in an all-stock deal, at that time disclosing plans to merge with Universal Security Instruments for a public listing, but it seems that the situation may have changed.
