The Uniswap community will vote on the governance process adjustment proposal on December 14
ChainCatcher news, the Uniswap Foundation announced that it will vote on a series of governance reforms that will simplify the management of Uniswap's DAO voting.
According to a forum post by Uniswap Foundation Executive Director Devin Walsh, Uniswap community members will participate in a Snapshot vote on December 14 regarding a proposal to adjust community governance processes, which aims to "increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the DAO." The most significant change is that Uniswap governance will abandon the requirement for off-chain "Snapshot voting" before on-chain voting, replacing it with a "Request for Comment" (RFC) post. Walsh stated that this will lower the barriers to clearing preliminary votes, which will "prevent low-quality proposals" from being passed.
The latest proposal suggests setting the RFC process duration to at least 7 days and the quorum requirement for the Temp Check process to 10 M UNI. (CoinDesk)
