Gitcoin Grants Protocol will launch five rounds of Alpha testing and collaborate with Fantom, Optimism, and others
ChainCatcher news, Gitcoin announced that its decentralized grant protocol, Grants Protocol, will launch five rounds of Alpha testing in the coming months, marking the first step in the transition of Gitcoin Grants to Grants Protocol. The five rounds of Alpha testing are as follows:
The first round is a pilot collaboration between Gitcoin Protocol and the UNICEF Innovation Office, taking place from December 9 to 21;
The second round is the Fantom Foundation distributing 125,000 FTM to projects built within the Fantom ecosystem through Gitcoin's grant protocol, occurring from December 12, 2023, to January 2, 2024;
The third round is Gitcoin's simplified Alpha round, divided into open-source software, Ethereum infrastructure, and climate solutions rounds, taking place from January 17 to 31, 2024;
The fourth round is Optimism's second round of retroactive public goods funding, scheduled for January 31 to February 10, 2024;
The fifth round is Alchemix's secondary voting round, which will take place in February next year, with the exact date to be determined. (source link)
