Animoca Brands acquires majority stake in music metaverse platform company Pixelynx

ChainCatcher news, according to VentureBeat, Animoca Brands has acquired a majority stake in the music metaverse platform company Pixelynx.

It is reported that Animoca Brands led a $4.5 million seed round financing for Pixelynx in November 2021. Pixelynx was founded by DJ and electronic musician Joel Zimmerman, Richie Hawtin, and several other industry professionals. Earlier this year, Pixelynx announced its first AR experience, Elynxir, which is an AR music experience powered by Niantic Lightship. (source link)
