ChainCatcher news reports that shortly after acquiring Yahoo, Apollo engaged in discussions with Mike Novogratz's Galaxy Digital about the possibility of offering cryptocurrency trading on Yahoo Finance. It is currently unclear which other crypto trading companies Apollo has approached as potential crypto partners.

Apollo is looking for a cryptocurrency trading platform with sufficient liquidity to handle the trading volume from Yahoo (such as Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken), while also needing a compliant company to manage KYC/AML policies. In October of this year, Apollo partnered with Anchorage Digital to provide institutional cryptocurrency custody services, making Anchorage one of the possible candidates. (source link)
